Applications are hereby invited from citizens of Sri Lanka for vacancies in the Kalu Ganga Water Supply Expansion Project (I). The applicants should possess the following qualifications.

POST OF Chief Engineer – Civil (01 Post)

Salary Code: C in MSD Circular: 02/2026 Rs.305,000/= + COL

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

1.) A Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant field.

and

An Associate Membership/A similar Professional Qualification obtained from a recognized professional body in the relevant field.

with

At least ten (10) years of experience in the relevant field at a managerial level.

2.) Corporate membership/similar professional qualification obtained from a recognized professional body in the relevant field.

with

At least 08 years of experience in the relevant field at a managerial level

3.) Class I Officer of a government All-Island Services or a similar status in the relevant field.

And

Associate membership / A similar professional qualification obtained from a recognized professional body in the relevant field

with

At least 03 years of experience in the Class I post or a similar status in the relevant field.

And

Passed the Licentiate II Intermediate Business Level Examination /Certificate II in Accounting and Business /Examination/Corporate Level Examination or a higher examination of the institute of Chartered Accountants ог a similar professional qualification from a recognized professional body in the field.

With

At least 07 years of post qualifying experience in the relevant field.

2.) An Associate Membership/A similar professional qualification obtained from a recognized professional body in the relevant field.

With

At least 04 years of experience in the relevant field.

3.) Class II/III or above officer of a government All Island Services or a similar status in the relevant field.

With

At least 07 years of experience in Class II/III post or a similar status in the relevant field.

POST OF Quantity Surveyor (01 Post)

POST OF ENGINEERING ASSISTANT

Salary: (Rs.160,000/- Plus COL)

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

1.) A Bachelor’s Degree / A qualification recognized by the University Grants Commission as an equivalent qualification to a degree in the relevant field.

Or

A certificate of proficiency not below than the National Vocational Qualification Level 7, issued by a Technical/ Vocational Training Institute accepted by Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission, relevant to the Technical field (Civil)

And

At least 03 years of experience in the required area of specialization

2.) A certificate of proficiency not below than the National Vocational Qualification Level 6. issued by a Technical/ Vocational Training Institute accepted by Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission, relevant to the technical field of the post.

And

At least 06 years of experience in the required area of specialization (Civil Engineering)

3.) A certificate of proficiency not below than the National Vocational Qualification Level 5, issued by a Technical/ Vocational Training Institute accepted by Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission, relevant to the technical field of the post.

and

At least 09 years of experience in the required area of specialization

POST OF PROJECT SECRETARY (01 Post)

Salary Code: F in MSD Circular: 02/2026

Salary: (Rs.160,000/- Plus COL)

1.) Passed the G.C.E. (O/L) examination in six (06) subjects with four (04) credit passes including English and Sinhala/Tamil language and passed three (3) subjects (other than the General Paper)

at the G.C.E. (A/L) Examination.

And

A secretarial course from a recognized institution or pursuing examinations leading to Charted Secretary.

With

At least 04 years of experience in relevant field.

2.) A Chartered Secretary with at least 04 years experience relevant field.

Bachelor of Science degree in engineering which is appeared in this advertisement must be read as follows;

Bsc degree in engineering (4 Years) issued by a University approved by the University Grant Commission (UGC) of Sri Lanka and the Institution

Of Engineers, Sri Lanka, as a qualification equivalent to degree in Engineering possessing all educational requirements to obtain Associate Membership.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE:

The appointments will be on contract basis initially for a period of one year renewable annually, subject to satisfactory performance appraisal. All conditions in the Management Services Circulars will apply in relation to the appointment.
